Yesterday I tasted Beringer Pinot Noir.  This is a cheap wine, that did not have much flavor, but went down very easily.  It did taste a bit like water, however, so that could be the reason for the lack of sharpness.  It was not very dark, and had no particularly strong smell.  For a cheap wine, however, I would probably drink it again.
